Resume: Looking for one or two crew to sail the Navy Wednesday evening Beer-Can races (5 p.m. - approx. 8:00 p.m.) from mid-April for about 4 months. Would like to practice on Sunday mornings or Wednesday afternoons. Me: College instructor last 25 years. Have taught basic sailing classes. New to racing, last year was first racing season. Finished #2 of 8 boats in cruising class race series. Retired Navy, senior citizen, but young at heart. Learning and winning important, but not at the expense of a pleasant experience of teamwork and cooperation. You: Commitment more important than knowledge or experience. If you are a beginner, I will work with you and provide training. Experienced? We can work together. I am too focused on sailing fast during a race and need crew to help with tactics.
