Crew Type: Racing Boat Type: Sail
Position(s): Any position
Experience Level: Some
Resume: I just moved to San Diego with the USCG. I started sailing in high school and my first experiences were a crash course in racing. By the time I got to college I was helping to teach kids at a summer camp in Shelter Island, NY. I love being on the water and after not sailing for almost 3 years I'd like to get back into it. I have lots of sea/water time in small sail boats and larger motor boats all the way up to a 282 foot Coast Guard Cutter. I still have much to learn but I'm ready and will. I'm in great physical condition and would even make a good grunt.

Resume: I've been sailing, but not racing since I was about 13 (25 yrs), and owned 2 boats in the past 10 years here in San Diego - an Erickson 23 and a Newport 27. I spent a lot of summers as a child at sailing camp at Mystic Seaport in Mystic, CT, and participated in their "Brilliant" program, sailing a 61' schooner around Block Island, MV, etc. I'm very interested in crewing on a racing boat, regardless how "rookie" a position it may be. I'm more than willing to pay my dues to get some experience.
