I live here in San Diego, well Chula Vista. I can say that I'm a do it all man or if not ill learn. I'm not a chef but I can do some some good mexican cooking, some huevos rancheros, ham with cheese, to pozole and menudo, obviously taught by my mexican family. I can cook everyday breakfast if you like. I Love fishing and outdoors, I often go on charter boats fishing out of point loma with friends. Been a couple of times to down to baja to cabos and all the way up to ensenada just explore. I can definitely fish out of the yacht, prepare and cook the fish to eat. I used to work in the San Diego Natural History Museum and I learn a lot of baja and surrounding places. One of the majors I was really considering in school was Marine Biologist, but I just could get all the music out of my system. Im a really responsible, good working and honest person. If you give me a chance I will be sure I would be really helping, ill make it fun,and entertaining and the the best part i'm drama free hahaha. In the other hand I play guitar and other instruments but guitar would be one of the instruments I could bring a long and play. Resume: I started as crew for a 55 foot gold coast yath sailing catamaran and a 24 foot inflatable rigid raft working for Captain Andy's. Crewing for 4 year heading 80 miles 5 days a week in hawaiian water to the Napali Coast. Then achieved my 50 ton CG license and started driving from there. 2 year driving rafts and almost a year driving and sailing the catamarans. I also have a lot of customer service experience and are friendly with guest. I've been on the water all my life but with only 7 year of working on a boat. I have a lot to learn yet but everyday out to sea you are always learn something new.

Resume: I've only been sailing for a brief amount of time, only about four months. However in that time I logged 6100 miles crewing on S/Y Argo, a 112 foot schooner, and I earned an IYT Master of Yachts 200 Tons Limited license. I sailed on Argo through the program, Seamester, which is a ninety day program for students to go abroad and not only learn to sail but take classes as well. On Argo, I sailed around the western half of the Mediterranean, crossed the Atlantic Ocean, and sailed in the Caribbean from Dominica to the British Virgin Islands. I have also sailed around St. Maarten for a week on a 50 foot Beneteau.

Resume: I am a STG (Sonar Technician) in the US Navy but i have not completed training so i am not stationed on a ship yet. I am taking the test to get my basic sailing certification this weekend (06/16/11). I used to sail a bit back home on Toppers, which are little dingys which are quite fun to race. I voulenteerd on a 60ft schooner, the Jambo, which was used for diving trips and ferrying tourists to and from expensive hotels located on islands just off the kenyan coast. Jambo was the largest vessel I have ever sailed, been with a friend on a Capri 22 a couple of times and mostly toppers and Dhow's (the boom comes across tip of the mast) back home in kenya. I would love to get more sailing experiance, im a quick learner but renting larger boats is way too expensive for someone of my paygrade. I have weekends off and am out of my Navy school at around 2.30pm every day. Be it cruising or racing, I am an able deck hand who loves to sail.

Resume: I used to go sailing with my father when I was young. We had a 14 foot sloop with a simple main sail and a jib, you're basic configuration. But I haven't been in quite some time and I'm unfamiliar with anything more complicated. However, I'm a fast learner. I tend to pick things up very quickly. And I'm excited to learn how to sail larger boats. I'm very good with my hands and have a excellent logic and reasoning. I'm a professional electrical engineer by trade and I'm very familiar with advanced electrical configurations for dynamic and complex systems. I currently design electrical systems for the Navy and I manage large design teams to write performance requirements for contractors. This may be of use when dealing with electrical systems on various boats. Looking forward to sailing with you!

Resume: I have had the minimal experience of grinder in a few short bay races, but cruising and traveling by sail has become my true intrigue. I am 22yo, 5'11", 165lbs, and in great physical condition. I am keen-minded and attentive to detail. Other than a strong work ethic and experience in bustin' my ass, I can offer a strong desire to learn all I can about sailing and the ocean. I can also cook quick, nutritious, hearty meals, and have been known to whip out the guitar for a tune or two after dinner. I am looking to work for experience, and not only in the crewing of a boat but the maintenance of one as well. I hope to work my way down mexico and central america; exploring the culture and improving my spanish when I can. Then, onto the pacific islands and possibly NZ/AU. Resume: I've just moved from Chicago and I am interested in racing or cruising, sail or motor. I've been on or around boats most of my life. I worked for Mark Lindsay Boat Builders in the early 90's, I've been a commercial fisherman in Alaska. In 2006 I worked the foredeck on a Peterson 34 for a number of races in lake Michigan, including the Mackinac. I haven't had much time on the water since then. I'm relatively fit and nimble, for a 40 year old, and looking to get back out on the water and make some friends.

Last summer, I crewed from the San Juan's to Juneau AK, last summer where I now currently live. This summer I've sailed on several boats in Southeast Alaska, including a three day race. I also bought a 17' day sailer this summer, and have had a blast on it. All in all I have well over 6 weeks of sea time. I'm available Oct 1st through mid November.
