Resume: Hi! I started sailing & racing 7 years ago, with a recent landlocked stint. Before that I was out racing or sailing a J24 almost daily on Lake Ontario, including the October Frost Bite Series in the odd gale. I did all positions, emphasis on foredeck and jib trim. I also sailed for 2 years in San Diego on a 33' Soverel, doing main & spinnaker, so I'm familiar with the Little Ensenada, Hot Rum, Beer Cans and Longstreth. I've been landlocked in Germany the last few years, but did manage to get a few sails in and a year ago got my RYA Coastal Skipper. I've now moved back to San D and am itching to get back out on the water for some races. Let me know if you need crew!

Resume: I grew up sailing small boats on the east coast,moved to San Diego and wanted to purchase my own boat, so I atended sling school with J world by the end of the first week I was sailing race boat with my instructors after class, I have sailed in most of the formal races in San Diego and yes most of the bear cans, eather as crew or capton, I enjoy the larger boats, My personal boats, Beneteau 381, 42s7 and a Beneteau 50. I quit racing in San Diego because so much conflict with crew members not doing their job but telling outher crew what they were doing this is a job for the capton. Resume: I am a STG (Sonar Technician) in the US Navy but i have not completed training so i am not stationed on a ship yet. I am taking the test to get my basic sailing certification this weekend (06/16/11). I used to sail a bit back home on Toppers, which are little dingys which are quite fun to race. I voulenteerd on a 60ft schooner, the Jambo, which was used for diving trips and ferrying tourists to and from expensive hotels located on islands just off the kenyan coast. Jambo was the largest vessel I have ever sailed, been with a friend on a Capri 22 a couple of times and mostly toppers and Dhow's (the boom comes across tip of the mast) back home in kenya. I would love to get more sailing experiance, im a quick learner but renting larger boats is way too expensive for someone of my paygrade. I have weekends off and am out of my Navy school at around 2.30pm every day. Be it cruising or racing, I am an able deck hand who loves to sail.

I am looking for any opportunity to get out on the water whether it is rail meat on a class A boat to helping with tactics and sail trim on a boat just starting out racing. Four years in Utah makes one desperate for water time. Resume: Raced dinghies growing up and got into big boat racing in high school and college. Worked at a sail loft in RI for a few years and have raced all over New England. Most of my experience is with mast and some bow. Raced consistently on a Beneteau 36.7 and Evelyn 36 but have also raced on IMX40, Mumm36 and various J Boats. Looking to get back into it now that I'm in San Diego!
